Over 300 guests explored The Flying Dutchman set, enjoyed performances by BLO singers, listened to presentations by BLO orchestra members and our friends at the Museum of Science, explored the back stage area and dressing rooms at the Shubert Theatre, and much more at the May 2013 Open House at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre.

Nearly 8,000 opera fans enjoyed BLO's performance with Boston Landmarks Orchestra at the annual free concert at the DCR Memorial Hatch Shell on the Esplanade.

For the first time BLO celebrated its annual Gala at the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre on the same night as the season opening performance of Mozart's The Magic Flute.

Over 200 guests explored the Lizzie Borden set, enjoyed performances by BLO singers, learned about the Lizzie Borden case, played Victorian dress up, participated in a paint-by-number of MA most famous murderess, explored the dressing rooms and costume designs, and much more at the November 2013 Open House at the Castle at Park Plaza.
